More than 70% of sheep producers are taking action to measure, maintain or enhance biodiversity.

Almost 66 million ha of land is being managed by sheep producers who work to preserve, protect and improve the natural resources and biodiversity on their properties.

Action to measure, maintain or enhance biodiversity is being undertaken through ground cover management, minimum tillage and multi-species planting.

Some producers are also using remote sensing technologies or external assessment to track biodiversity indicators on their property.
