Smart Farming virtual classroom

Smart Farming virtual classrooms offer primary school students a free, curriculum-linked 30-minute session that brings a farmer into the classroom!

Hosted on Zoom over school terms 2 and 3, the program delivers themed sessions through Life on the Farm for lower primary students and Farming for the Future for upper primary students. Featuring a guest farmer, students and teachers will get an introduction to red meat and livestock farming, on-farm sustainability, and technology used across Australian beef, sheep and goat farming.

Sessions are curriculum-linked, include quizzes to test knowledge, farmer Q&A time and optional student activities for pre/post session use.
