Teaching Resources

Australian Good Meat Education offers an extensive range of free, curriculum-aligned and classroom-ready primary and high school resources designed for digital or hardcopy use.


Accessible for both teachers and students through the search filter below, there is also a range of supplementary classroom materials that can be downloaded by clicking on the download arrow displayed on each tile within the Supplementary Materials section on this page.


The F-10 resources cover a range of topics including on-farm production, the supply chain, food security and nutrition, ethical production, feeding strategies for eating quality, technology, marketing and advertising, domestic and export markets, and more! Sustainability is emphasised throughout the resources as a cross-curriculum priority area. The suite contains Teacher Guides, Lesson Plans, Student Activities, a teacher instructional video, and a range of supplementary materials for use in the classroom.


The Stage 6 resources comprising a Teacher Guide and Student Learning Resource, support students in the analysis of an agricultural research study to achieve learning outcomes related to analysing, interpreting, and communicating evidence-based research investigations. Designed to align to the NSW Stage 6 Agriculture HSC course, the resources are also highly relevant for Australian senior secondary students required to develop the specific skills required to complete these activities.


Designed to meet the needs of today’s educators and students the Australian Good Meat Education resources have been developed in collaboration with the Primary Industries Education Foundation Australia.
